HOW TO SHOP ON SHERWANI STUDIO
Browsing For Products
Browse the store by using the Sherwani Studio department headings at the top of the page. Once clicked on, these will reveal the products within each department.
Our Departments are best explained as follows:
Wedding Sherwanis: These are sherwanis that are in lighter and/or vibrant colours and are best suited for a daytime wedding ceremony or a pre-wedding event such as a Sangeet, Mehndi, Sanjee, Garba etc.
Evening Wear: These are sherwanis and Nehru suits in dark colours ideally suited for evening events and wedding receptions - and make great substitutes for tuxedos and lounge suits and black tie dinners, parties and corporate functions.
Kurta Suits: These are light weight "semi sherwanis" in an exciting range of colours for all tastes and occasions. Ideally suited to wedding ceremonies or pre-wedding event such as a Sangeet, Mehndi, Sanjee, Garba etc.
Designer Lounge:An exclusive range of garments made from limited edition fabrics by world renowned sherwani designers, Amara. These designs will generally be available in a limited range of size(s) for a very limited time period.
Special Offers: A range of sherwanis and Nehru suits for all manner of occasions that we are able to sell at exceptionally reasonable prices, ideal for the price conscious shopper!
Accessories: A range of accessories to complement your outfit from dupattas (scarves) to mojhris (shoes) and Kalgis (jeweled ornaments).
Adding Items To Your Shopping Cart
To add an item to your shopping cart, click the "Add To Basket" button. The garment will be added to your basket. (If the item is out of stock you will be alerted immediately). You will be taken to a page where you can view your shopping basket contents and by clicking "Continue Shopping" you can continue selecting other purchases in this way.
To change the currency in which prices are displayed, use the currency selector menu, locate din the top right hand side of the web page.
Checking Out
Once you have selected all the items you wish to purchase, click the "Go To Checkout" button, located in the top right hand side of the screen. You will be taken to a checkout form where a summary of your purchases will be displayed. At this stage you have the option to remove unwanted items from your shopping basket, if desired and the order total will automatically be re-calculated.
You will then need to enter payment and delivery details into the checkout form and choose your delivery zone, which will in turn calculate your delivery charges. Once you have completed the form click the "Submit Order" button. You will be taken to the website of our secure payment provider, PayPal, where you will be asked to fill out and submit payment details (credit or debit card).
Once your card payment has been accepted, a confirmation message will be displayed on screen and a receipt and confirmation email, with an order number, will be emailed to you for your records.
CHOOSING YOUR SIZE
All our garments can be made in "standard sizes". Click here to view our sizing guide to help you decide which size would fit you best.
If you feel that a standard size will NOT fit you, you have the option to submit detailed measurements (UNLESS otherwise stated in the item description). To do so, please tick the box in our checkout form next to the option "Send me a detailed measurement form" and a copy of this will be sent to you as soon as your order is accepted.
COLOUR DISLAIMER
Sherwani Studio firmly believes that all the customers who order online are aware that colors seen on a monitor will be slightly different as compared to the actual outfits, accessories or shoes ordered. All color options offered on the net is an exercise to provide our customers with the maximum available choice of Sherwani Studio`s garments.
It is practically impossible for us to replicate the same colors on an outfit as seen on your monitor. A slight variation in the shade selected by you is considered as a normal practice as these garments have a tendency to reflect different shades of a color under different light and medium.
SECURE PAYMENTS
Paying Online by Credit or Debit Card
Payments are accepted through our payment processing provider PayPal by credit or debit card. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Delta, Switch, Solo and Visa Electron. Simply select the Credit or Debit Card payment option when completing the checkout form.
You will then be taken to a secure PayPal payment screen, which displays the secure padlock icon at the bottom of the browser window. This indicates that you are on a secure encrypted page, where all your data is safe.
Your payment details will be securely encrypted and cannot be read or accessed by anyone - and that includes us, we never see or have access to your card details at any time. For your additional security and peace of mind we do not store your card details either.
DELIVERY & DISPATCH
All Goods will normally be delivered within 30 working days of receipt of order and your goods will be dispatched by a reputable courier company including TNT, Fedex, DHL or EPS.
Delivery of the Goods shall be made to your delivery address specified in the Checkout form.
Please note that WE DO NOT DELIVER to PO boxes, mail drop boxes or forwarding addresses of any kind. Please also note that we cannot guarantee delivery within these time periods. Please refer to the terms and conditions governing orders by you through this website and the website terms and conditions for further details.
RETURNS & CANCELLATIONS POLICY
Because all Goods are custom-made or made to measure, refunds or exchange cannot be entertained, unless the Goods are deemed to be faulty when manufactured and unfit for wear.
Since under normal circumstances orders are processed on the same day as receipt of your order, we reserve the right not to accept cancellation of orders. Where cancellation is accepted, we reserve the right to indemnity you in full for costs incurred.
Refunds are given at our discretion In the event that a refund is provided, a 2.9% administration fee will be applicable on all refunds.
